Eurovision Contest will celebrate the 60th anniversary in a big way, the official website of the international song contest.
The biggest show in Europe, which in May will take Austria, will be marked by the celebration of the 60th anniversary. The celebration will be released outside of the country – the mistress of the competition in 2015. For example, the European Broadcasting Union announced the organization of a concert featuring the stars of “Eurovision” of different years in the British capital London. The show will be held in the Concert Hall on March 31, and later European viewers will be able to see it on the record.
In the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) in London in April planned conference “Contest: 60th anniversary”. The participants will try to analyze the impact that competition has on the people of Europe how to use the show as a platform of expression to create national and European identity and nation branding.
Will be prepared video “Milestones Eurovision”, telling the story of the most popular songs of the show in Europe. In the video will reflect the situation in 1969, when just four countries received the title of winner because the same number of points (France, Spain, UK, Netherlands), the promotion of competition in Eastern Europe in the 1990s and the introduction of the semi-finals in 2004. Television footage of countries – competitors will use in their esters.

In the “Eurovision-2015” will be attended by representatives of 39 countries. Two semi-finals of the competition will be held on 19 and 21 May, the final will be held on 23 May.
