The director of the British MI5 intelligence service, Andrew Parker, announced Russia’s threatening policies towards Europe.
“She uses the entire spectrum of state bodies and law enforcement agencies to conduct her foreign policy towards foreign countries with increasing aggression, using propaganda, espionage, sabotage and cyber attacks,” he said.
According to the chief of intelligence, “Russia operates across Europe and the UK” and contrasts itself with the West, working with unconventional methods.
“Russia increasingly puts itself in opposition to the West and acts accordingly” Parker said. As confirmation, he called Ukraine and Syria.
At the same time, he charged Russia with “cyber threats” that “have existed for decades.”
