Russia bought property in Finland for its military
There is a risk that the property acquired in Finland will be used to deploy the Russian military, reports SUPO Security Police.
In a report submitted to the administrative commission of the parliament, the Security Police wrote that it could be about preparing Russia for pressure in a crisis.
According to SUPO, this is evidenced by real estate transactions, “which are not associated with any business logic.”
In practice, a foreign state, as the owner of the land, could, for example, close routes or deploy troops on its site, said SUPO.
