There are three recognized beauty contests in the world: “Miss Universe”, “Miss World” and “Miss Europe”.
“Miss Europe” is the only prestigious beauty contest in Europe, the structure of which includes forty-two European states. The Miss Europe contest is over fifty years old.
For the past three years, the final ceremony of the Miss Europe contest has been held in France. The broadcast of this prestigious show was conducted in more than twenty countries in Europe.
The Miss Europe 2005 competition was hosted by Paris. Thirty-six beautiful representatives of European countries who took part in the competition forced the audience to applaud. The grace, beauty and choreographic data of each participant were appreciated by a competent jury, which included world celebrities.
Organizers
Super Nova Agency has acquired an exclusive license to host the Miss Europe 2006 contest in Ukraine. The contract for obtaining this license was signed on April 4, 2006 in Paris between Omar Arfush (founder of Super Nova Agency) and Xavier Koutur (President of Endemol, owner of the Miss Europe contest).
The company Super Nova Agency has extensive experience in conducting such events: in Ukraine, beauty contests Elite Model Look International and Miss @ NeT were successfully held.
The international contest “Miss Europe 2006” will be held on October 27 at the National Palace “Ukraine”.
Resonance
Undoubtedly, after the Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine, the Miss Europe contest will be the most resonant event of 2006. More than fifty leading world media are accredited to the competition, including CNN, BBC, EuroNews, TF1 (France), RTL (Germany), NTV (Russia), TMS (Monaco) and many others. The contest will be broadcast live in more than twenty European countries with an audience of 500 million viewers.
Jury
Representatives of the world elite kindly agreed to take part in the jury of such a grandiose event as “Miss Europe”: artists, models, athletes, businessmen.
The composition of the jury is impressive: the famous French actor Anthony Delon (son of Alain Delon), model and actress Adriana Karambe, the famous French singer Patrick Bruel, the owner of the Miss Europe 2006 contest license, composer Omar Arfush, the famous hairstyle designer Alexander Zaurin. The head of the jury of Miss Europe 2006 is the famous couturier Roberto Cavalli.
The German winner Sherman Sherivar, “Miss Europe 2005”, will hand the crown to the winner. The hosts of the Miss Europe 2006 final ceremony are Jean Pierre-Foucault, star of the French television channel TF-1, and Victoria Lopyreva, the famous TV presenter, Miss Russia 2005. The co-host of the contest is the famous TV journalist Savik Schuster.
Ukraine at Miss Europe
Super Nova Agency also acquired the exclusive right to select Miss, who will represent Ukraine in the final of the Miss Europe 2006 contest.
If earlier the selection of applicants for participation in the competition was veiled, then this time it was open and democratic. The representative of Ukraine was chosen solely by her external and intellectual data. Pressure on the jury of the qualifying round in Ukraine, as it was before, is impossible.
The winner will become the owner of prizes in the amount of 100,000 euros and a crown with diamonds, which is estimated at 350,000 euros. Ukraine is represented by a student at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a Kiev woman, Elena Avramenko.
