The European Union has launched a new information project called Disinformation Review to combat Russian propaganda. It is being prepared by the special task force StratCom East, established under the European Foreign Policy Service (EEAS).
Disinformation Review is a weekly newsletter that collects exposures of the most striking examples of Russian propaganda. The stated goal of the project is to draw the attention of European society to the scale of daily information attacks by Russia, whose goal is the West.
“The data collected will help in conducting a deeper analysis of the problem, which will make it possible to confront and forestall Russian information attacks in the future,” the EEAS website said.
The project also received a separate account on Twitter. It is called the “European legend destroyers” (EU Mythbusters).
