Protest action against sex tourism in Ukraine

Ukrainian feminists against sex tourism

In the center of Kiev, local feminists in a very piquant manner expressed a friendly “fi” of love for money

Girls enjoyed posing, showing onlookers the fruits of trips to gyms and spas

Tourism takes sometimes the strangest forms

It happens, for example, let’s say, shadow tourism, unofficial. In the countries of Eastern Europe, which are equally unattractive for both Russians and foreigners, it is very piquant. They go there for sexual impressions.

In Kiev, even staged a protest against “sex tourism”. Ukrainians are seriously concerned that they come to their country to conduct excursions not to the sights of Kiev, but to its most evil places. This is partly true. Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Bulgaria – the largest “suppliers” of live goods to EU countries according to Interpol. So the problem is not at all comic.

However, the protest rally looked more like an amateur cheery booth, rather than a serious event. Prostitutes and their clients were portrayed by girls and young men of clearly model appearance in glamorous outfits, which priestesses of love can only dream of. Girls enjoyed posing, showing onlookers the fruits of trips to gyms and spas, and clearly enjoyed the attention of the public.

Speaking of the public. If the organizers of the action wanted to oppose sex tourism in this way, then it turned out to be clearly bad for them. Numerous viewers watched the improvised orgies (the “customers” poured champagne on the models and flirted with them with a little more than usual) with smiles even encouraged the most modest participants of the action.

The action was accompanied by a demonstration of acutely social banners in which slogans like “I’m not for sale!” Were written in different languages. and “No to sex tourism in Ukraine!”. It seems that in the dispute over the audience’s attention, these campaigners had no chance against the bikini and the deep neckline of the protesters.

As Russian bloggers noted: “Feminists with such undisguised pleasure defiled in the outfits of prostitutes that it seemed that this action was just an excuse.” Indeed, it seems that the problem of sex tourism in Ukraine does not concern anyone but the demonstrators.

In general, there was no protest. Visual advertising of those Ukrainian entertainments about which they do not write in tourist booklets came out. The audience, judging by their approving reaction, even liked it. Sex tourism is obviously going to be an unofficial income item for Ukraine for a long time to come.

One and a half hundred defiantly dressed up girls and youths depicted priestesses of love and their clients

The action was accompanied by a demonstration of acutely social banners. On which, however, no one looked

At the epicenter of the demonstration, the “most unsightly” scenes from the life of sex workers were played

Demonstrators did not limit themselves in means of expression

The action attracted a huge number of onlookers
